February already?

Hellooo World!

Stepheter here. I'm a bit ashamed at my absence on the old blog, as of late. How to summarize a month in a few sentences? Hmmm... well, here are some highlights that spring to mind:

- giving a drama-based workshop on fair trade bananas to my class... now I'm some kind of "banana expert" and have been invited to speak as such at a local fair trade celebration. The other speakers are a coffee farmer and a chocolate maker... interesting.
- having all you can eat tapas at Al Farid with a group of friends. Apart from the sight of giant meatballs on my table, it was a (mostly-vegan) feast of greatness
- watching a lot of uk daytime tv when I was bedridden for 2 days with a virus. Not exactly a highlight but a lasting memory nonetheless.
- getting a new teapot in a boxing day sale. I think I only say that because I am drinking tea from it as I write but it rules and bring cozey-ed warmness to my belly daily
- running a t-shirt customizing workshop- sadly, this overlapped with the start of the virus but was fun and crafty nonetheless
- volunteering at a local high school teaching drama. It's a "tough" school by Exeter's standards- but I love the kids and am in awe of the coolness of the drama department.

Busy times ahead- an epic moor outdoorsy weekend to celebrate mine and a friend's birthdays (what moor could I want? Sorry, had to say it), "green" cook zine to compile (any contributions from afar would be welcome!) , paper writing, paper writing, paper writing, a visit from my dad and his family!, the all-male-cook wooden spoon edition, and hopefully more
blogging than I've done lately!

Hope everyone is well and sending loads of love across the Atlantic!
xoxoSML and AJK
